Bloodbound Skullreapers

I've been doing some work on my personal projects over the last few weeks, and slowly but surely, my Bloodbound are coming together for the Holy Wars GT in February.  My color scheme is a mix of the Iron Horde scheme, which is all raw metal, and the Flayed, which have the red trim on the armor panels.  So, the end scheme is raw iron plates with red trim.  I think it's a great scheme that gives room for lots of variation in shading and intensity in the colors.

Trollkin Scouts

The Trollkin Scouts bring that comedic element that PP is so good at delivering.  From the guy holding a full on pig to the smoked ham on a hook for the leader, these guys are barrels of fun.  Because they are scouts, I kept the pallette muted to represent them blending into there environment.  No flashy kilts or bright colors.  These boys are designed to hide...except for that squealing piggie!

Slag Troll

The Slag Troll is the king of understated beauty.  I kept him nearly monochrome, drybrushing from a dark grey up to nearly white.  He gets a bit of color in his mouth and on the metallic plates around his waste.

Dire Troll Mauler

These metal warbeasts are absolutely a joy to work on.  This mauler has had a tush knocked out in a good brawl.  I love the way the skin turned out.

Age of the Hammer Podcast: Episode 9

Recently, the guru of my local gaming club asked me to cohost Age of the Hammer.  It's a podcast dealing with all things Age of Sigmar.  Of course, I jumped at the opportunity to talk hobby, especially for a game that is so amazing.  Since I am cohosting, I told Mike that I would link the podcast here, as well.  Enjoy our AoS banter!
